Launch Elyndor Ambient. The activation pill (top-right) opens a dialog. Paste your key, hit Enter. The pill is replaced by a "licensed to: you" badge. Install sound packs anytime — drag-and-drop or run a pack .exe.

What does Elyndor Ambient actually do?
It's a personal soundscape engine for Windows. You pick sounds — rain, fire, ocean, wind, handpan, pad, drone, anything in the 143-sound library — and layer them into a mix. Eight channels, master bus, the same DSP chain you'd find in a $500 VST plugin. The mix evolves over time so it doesn't become wallpaper. Use it for focus, sleep, meditation, deep work, or just to make your room less silent.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The .msi bundles every sound as a file. After install, no internet connection is required — no servers, no telemetry, no accounts. Your license is verified locally via Ed25519 signature against a baked-in public key.
What's the engine architecture?
WebView2-rendered UI (so the visuals are crisp at any DPI). Web Audio API DSP chain per channel: HPF → LPF → 3-band EQ → soft saturation → compressor → stereo width → master. The same chain high-end audio plugins use, just real-time and free.
What are sound packs?
Signed .elyndor-pack files you can install to add more sounds. The Handpan Collection (8 handpan sounds) and Atmosphere Collection (7 atmospheric drones) are first. Drop a pack .exe in Windows, the pack installs to your library, and a welcome toast fires the next time you open Ambient.
Will I get future sound packs for free?
Yes. All sound packs released within one year of your purchase are included. After that, new packs are sold separately — but existing packs and updates to the engine itself stay free forever.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or later (64-bit), 4 GB RAM minimum, 400 MB storage, any DirectSound-compatible audio device. The DSP runs on your CPU; no GPU needed. A modern laptop (2020+) handles eight channels easily.
Can I install on multiple machines?
Yes — up to three. Your license key works on three simultaneous installs. Deactivate one to free up a slot if you need to install on a fourth machine.
What if I don't like it?
Email us within 7 days for a full refund. No questions asked. After that, the license is yours forever and you can keep using whichever version of the engine was current at refund time.
